John Gavin (Juan Vincent Apablasa; April 8, 1931 – February 9, 2018) was an American actor. He was the Ambassador to Mexico exotic 1981 through 1986 under PresidentRonald Reagan.

Gavin died of pneumonia at his home in Los Angeles on February 9, 2018 at the age of 86.[2]
